Michael Hodson

Mike is a technologist and successful business owner who has lived and worked in Hampshire for over 20 years. With an engineering degree from Southampton University, Mike has also lived in Silicon Valley, California and has worked with some of the most famous high-tech companies in the world. Mike joined the trustees of the Wessex Heritage Trust - and accepted the offer of Chair - in April 2019.

Roy Wyatt

Roy has had links with the Hampshire Museums since the early 1980’s and has been a trust member since 1992 when the then Hampshire Museums Trust was formed.
Roy is owner of businesses in the UK, USA, and the Middle East. The businesses specialise in engineering, manufacturing and environmental measurements.
Currently Roy is involved with a number of university linked research projects in the UK, USA, South Africa and Malaysia. The key area for these research programs is understanding he impact of ocean noise on marine mammals.

Alec Brooks

Alec is a company commercial solicitor based in Basingstoke. He has been practising in North Hampshire for over 20 years and has helped advise profit and not for profit  organisations on all aspects of business law. Alec has also helped to set up a number of local charities and continues to support their work.  Alec has been a trustee of  Wessex Heritage Trust since 2011 and supports Wessex Heritage Trust’s aims of educating the public, and in particular the young, about the rich culture and heritage of the region.

 

Chris Edwards

Chris has been a Trustee of the Wessex Heritage Trust, formerly Hampshire Museums and Galleries Trust since 2011.

His career included 12 years working in the Finance Department at Hampshire County County Council, 18 years as Principal Museums Officer with Hampshire Museums Service, and 8 years as Head of Programme and Project Management with HCC Culture and Communities Department.

He has wide experience of fundraising, particularly with bids to the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Big Lottery.

Lorraine Ive

Lorraine Ive

Lorraine has a background of 34 years working in care, including managing mental health services, learning disabilities, and older people.

She is now thoroughly enjoying managing her own business that supports compliance within services and is looking forward to bringing her invaluable experience to the Wessex Heritage Trust board.
